About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of team performance, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and addressing personnel matters.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for application development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Effectively manage budgets, resources, and timelines for projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices to guide team decisions and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, and infrastructure teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement solutions to address challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in application development, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
  • Experience managing global technology teams is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and project timelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
