About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for application development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Effectively manage budgets, resources, and timelines for projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices to guide team decisions and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, and infrastructure teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement solutions to address challenges.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in application development, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Experience managing global technology teams is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and project timelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
