We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiograph Technologist to join our cardiology team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Obtain accurate and detailed images of the heart and related structures.
• Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with EMR systems.

Oregon Considerations:

• Familiarity with Oregon's healthcare regulations.
• Awareness of the patient demographic within the Portland Oregon area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D echocardiography.
• Experience with stress echocardiography and TEE.
